LIABILITY WAIVER

La Groupetto — Weekly Road Ride

1. Activity Description

La Groupetto is a weekly road cycling ride organized by Sans Limites Cycling Club (SLCC).

Rides take place on public roads, typically in a group format following a loop.

Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

2. Acknowledgment of Risks

I acknowledge that road cycling involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Falls, collisions, and traffic accidents
  
• Bodily injuries, including serious or permanent injuries
  
• Damage to bicycle or equipment
  
• Weather conditions
  
• Road and traffic conditions
  
• Actions of other participants or road users
  
• Fatigue, dehydration, or physical distress
  

I understand that these risks may occur even when reasonable safety measures are taken.

3. Release and Waiver

By accepting this waiver, I release and hold harmless:

Sans Limites, its organizers, volunteers, partners, representatives, and members, from any claims, damages, or liability arising directly or indirectly from my participation in La Groupetto activities, including in cases of negligence.

4. Participation Conditions

I confirm that:

• I am participating voluntarily
  
• I am physically fit to ride a bicycle
  
• I will wear an approved cycling helmet at all times
  
• My bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition
  
• I will follow applicable traffic laws
  
• I will ride safely and respectfully
  
• I understand this is not a race
  

5. Medical Authorization

In the event of an accident or medical emergency, I authorize the organizers or volunteers to:

• contact emergency services
  
• obtain necessary medical assistance
  

I acknowledge that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
